What can we expect in terms of time it will take to come to a vocational recommendation? Usually 30 to 90 days, depending on the facts and issues of the vocational and medical issues.

What can we expect to be charged per hour or per case? This depends on what we are hired to perform. Each service has different rates but are consistent within each service. We do charge a hourly rate for all work done. Some work can be completed in less then 4 hours while more complicated work can take 25 or more hours. You are encouraged to call 1-888-824-7636 and ask. Some services are on a sliding scale while some depend on a contingency.

What's the difference between vocational rehabilitation counseling and consulting? Counseling can include adjustment counseling and support based on circumstances faced by the injured worker or injured party. Consulting is completed between professionals. Some cases require both.

What is the difference between Career Counseling and Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling? Career Counseling is usually a service that is delivered to assist a person to enter into the labor force with all of the tools available to him/her and with new tools taught. Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling usually involves working with an injured party who may or may not need to enter the labor force again, but rather identify the facts and data that assists or prevents that from happening through evaluation methods.

What kind of testing is offered? A wide range of testing is available and it includes measuring people's aptitude, academic ability, interest, values, career potential, physical abilities, temperaments, personality, to find the best fit between a person's profile and industries or occupations.

We have worked with individuals and companies of all sizes to assist in reducing the potential for accidents, exposure to litigation, hiring practices and safety. It is usually specifically designed based on the need of each employer or person requesting the need.
