Methodoly is important in providing sound and reliable vocational evaluation and testimony..  Whitmer and Associates follows methodology consistent with the industry standards.  The Federal Case, Daubert vs. Merrill Dow Pharmaceuticals, Inc, resulted in what is known as the "Daubert Ruling" which  establishes four basic criteria by which courts and judges would evaluate Expert Testimony:

1.  Can a theory or technique be tested and be reproduced?
2.  Has the theory or technique been subjected to peer review and or publication?
3.  What is the known error rate and particular scientific method?
4.  Is there explicit identification and acceptance of the theory or technique by a relevant scientific community?

Under Federal Rule of Evidence,  Federal Rule 702 indicates:

If scientific, technical, or other specialized knowledge will assist the trier of fact to understand the evidence or to determine a fact in issue, a witness qualified as an expert by knowledge, skill, experience, training, or education, may testify thereto in the form of an opinion or otherwise, if (1) the testimony is based upon sufficient facts or data, (2) the testimony is the product of reliable principles and methods, and (3) the witness has applied the principles and methods reliably to the facts of the case.
